Our Pastor

Pastor Nelson Williams Jr. is a native of Anderson, South Carolina.  He is the son of the late Nelson and Verdell Williams. He has five sisters and one brother. Pastor Williams was called into the ministry at a young age with the influence of his family and the Pentecostal Holiness Church. In November of 1985, he gave his initial sermon "You must be born again" which pushed him forward into his calling. He was ordained a minister at the age of 19, by the late Bishop B.T. Cunningham of the Universal Pentecostal Holiness Churches of the USA.
 
Pastor Williams is a charismatic leader, a visionary, and a motivational and inspirational speaker. He is the Senior Pastor of Open Arms Outreach Ministries located in Anderson, South Carolina. 

Pastor Williams was educated in the public schools of Anderson and continued his studies by majoring in Elementary Education at Anderson University.

Pastor Williams has a heart for people.  His vision and passion is to reach the masses with the word of God by speaking the truth as plainly as possible. Thru his life experiences, wisdom and understanding God has given him guidance for helping people meet Jesus, and each week he shares God's word and its practical application in our daily lives. 

He is a dedicated husband to his wife Minister Andrea Rock Williams; he has 4 daughters, one son and one granddaughter.

Pastor Williams contributes all his accomplishments to the favor of God. He strongly believes that "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him." I Corinthians 2:9
